Tale of Two Fires

On one day, two fires raged simultaneously.

One, the result of over half a century of efforts to elevate some humans beyond the sky.

The other, a result of over half a millennium of efforts to oppress some humans to die.

Ironically, even as, by design, rescuing human lives is given top priority even at the cost of aborting entire $58+ million space missions, so few bat their eyes while humans get strangled and lynched in broad daylight — all until a few dozen businesses go up in flames. And then, suddenly, violence magically becomes a crime!
